The sheer insanity of this build is just breathtaking :)
Do y’all do Custom body for people cause I have a Kool Go kart I need a Body for it?
Buddy your shop is a disaster wtf hahahhahahahhahaha
Dangggg, that is the best work I have seen about building a wide body. Awesome ...
who else fast forwards the first few mins? lol
when you started describing what you were going to do my first thought was .. "Huh .. like I built my speaker pods"
Genius!!👍
B for sowing dude's lolol
Best episode. Love the creativity
That fabric trick came out sick. I have to remember that. Question: What kind of "stretchy" fabric did you use? Looks like some kind of rubber impregnated spandex?
Mind-Fucking-Blown! That fabric looks so freaking amazing!!!
This is gunna look like a lambo turd.
What software is that on the computer that you used to show the wide body?
THIS IS ART
you are a genius
Nothing wrong with driving on spacers
20:52 B is for Fix
Made my wiener tingle when you laid the spandex on the exoskeleton for the first time. Awesome build!
That is so cool
Most predictable youtuber
AWESOMENESS!!!!♡
26:45 The weight of the resin is going to make everything bow inward. I'm sure others have said this and you may even say it, but I paused it here to post the observation.
WHERE IS PART 2!???????
Whoa!! That actually turned out AMAZING!! Wayy smoother and more awesome than I was expecting, great work!!!
I was like this won't work, oh wait, man that looks excellent,. I knew it would work!
Ive watched this one several times. I still cant believe how good that looks. I really cant wait for the next video. 😃😃😃
Have anyone ever told you that you look like Seth Rogan? Big fan of your channel by the way.
Sweet cant wait to see in in person in November
My question would be is this the first LS rear engine swap? if not who else tried it and what was their result? Know the original corvette designer made a few rear engine cars that were never made into production in the 60's
Waiting for the continuation of this, but then you put in the remake of the front clip video. Hope to see more of the making of the wide body panels SOON.
I love how your mind works and especially your optimistic attitude! Keep building!
Excellent work! This is probably the best thing I've seen you do.
That's looks so good can you rap the whole car like that 💯
that worked out WAY better than i first expected it
I Think, Rear fender need more radius, for more low on the air out... and fender to lip wheels
bad obsession motorsport did fender flares out of fabric
What even
Yoga pants on the Lambo!
Been watching this build from the beginning! Awesome work! Just wondering if you think using the unpainted steel could be of any concern for rust down the road?
Should just section the fender, bumper and rocker molding 4". What your doing is what they do in car audio customizations and installations
Chris I do believe you will find out the over-fender and flair needs to go to the end of the quarter or spoiler like in the rendering. The car looks like it has two rear ends from the side now.
Just saw you at ballast point in downtown Disney you were sitting right next to me but didn’t want to bother. Enjoy your stay!!
fabric stretch was one of the greatest things I've ever seen
Wheel spacers on a Lamborghini?..... SACRILEGE!
Yacht video?
Your not a car builder your an artist 👩🎨 I don’t know how you even could begin building that quarter panel. Just awesome 👏
Can't wait for the next episode.. 😍
Learn something new every day...who would thunk about using fabric to create a body panel? What's next..a Snuggie?
I didnt think that would turn out, but looks great nice job
Wow! That worked so well! Amazing work
Crazy car is going to be amazing
Like building speaker enclosers
Love the drop kick ringtone!
I have my doughts about this wide body. I personally would of stuck with the carbon race body you bought as is.
I would have used bedsheet as that fabric will mostlikely melt from the resin watch badobsession the mini build awd will give you some ideas while they made there flares
Chris making history and a whole new cheap way of making widebody.
We heard you like overfenders so we’re building you some overfenders for your overfenders!
Thats tight bro
You guys are freaking awesome I can't get enough of your build. That Lamborghini is going to be a beast
Awesome vlog Congts from UK..
It might give you a little bit more insight and tricks to do it a little easier and better can't wait to see the finished product going to be awesome
Well done Chris and team. Best body work video you've done ever. And I've been following you since the 1st brz. KEEP IT GOING
Check out Bad Obsession Motorsport and how they built the fender flairs for the MINI.
That body kit is looking incredible so far, can't wait to see the finished kit
OSCAR is for Build!
This is just amazing.. excellent creativity and precision
What an amazing job dude ! This project is one of the most crazy i've ever seen. It's also one of the most interresting because you are always testing new technics ou fabricating new parts as carbon fiber body. Thanks for sharing it. I can't wait for the next episode.

Check out bad obsession motorsports they built their fenders with that method
THIS was absolutely professional looking finish. Congrats!
Uh I think thats not good for a supercar but you do you
Me at the start: yeah this will never work Me at 25:08: :o
Same. Lol
I was a bit skeptical, but once I saw that fabric on the skeleton showing the frame.. woah, thats gonna be a scary looking Huracan
Use muslin it's a type of fabric that will take resin well
I wonder if he would of made a mold out of foam or something then vac formed that instead of doing this method?
I love this!
Horsepower tv (used to be on spike tv) made a front spoiler for a bumper for a ford ranger build they did a v8 swap and independent rear suspension conversion on using a wire frame and then they rapped it in a fleece blanket held to the frame with binder clips (large spring paper clips) then used resin to finish (you see a lot of guys doing this to make car Audio speaker boxes.)
I have to ask! Why not aluminum tubing for the frame... as your so hip on weight reduction!
Gday Chris, Consider Dynel cloth after you have hardened the stretch cloth with resin. Dynel is a woven maliable polyester cloth that is used by timber boat builders to give the outer surface a hard wearing epoxy skin. Dynel has a “silkiness” quality to it and follows form without the “pleats and gathers” whereas glass and carbon fibre are a bit stiff to start with. I’d spray the resin on your fabric too in a few very light part coats, allowing to dry between coats to stop it sagging. Then Dynel over when fabric is stiff. Buy yourself some grooved metal mini rollers to roll the resin into the Dynel or glass layers to remove air and manipulate the Dynel cloth to where you want it to lay. Hope it helps, good luck! Cheers mate 🍻🍷
B is boat now
i have the same ringtone great work on the car looks awsome!
no doubt came out better than i expected. good job man!!
When you go to putting the fabric on for real I highly suggest looking in Stewart Aircraft covering system.Would be the best fabric to use with infusing with resin, and the attaching glue is water based and the fabric shrinks tight with a clothing iron. I am an A&P mechanic and believe this would be the best route for the fabric.
Why not add a piece in the middle and spread the fenders out 4 inches ? Nothing to design the body already looks nice just spread the whole body so the rear quarters are wider.
As always excellent content, expounding your wealth of knowledge on us. Can't wait to see the final product!!
fistream.info/work/videot/o6Nsh7mmk6exvKM wheel fender extensions.....
Chris your the man . that shit looks cool as hell
I don't understand how that went from painful to watch, too omg that's perfect.
Chris, been watching your channel for quite a while, since the fist Brz. This is your biggest win so far! :) Btw, I have seen the fabric trick from these guys: fistream.info/work/videot/o6Nsh7mmk6exvKM
That actually looks amazing 😀 who knew what a bit of Spandex could do!
Some guys would say that's 6-8 inches of poke...
such an amazing idea guys, keep going and good luck with the rest of the build!
This can work but not quite the way you want to. This is similar to how you tried to do the hood originally. What you should do is coat it in resin, and a few layers or fiberglass to make a mold. Then create a fiberglass panel from that mold. sand that down and get it all nice then create another mold that will be used for creating the final carbon fiber part. I know it is more time than you want to spend on a single panel but this is how you will get a good part that is the correct size and a nice finish.
"1:05... Did you forget how to spell Build? "B is for Buid Me" lol
congrats one million subscribers 🎊🎉🍾🎈
Nobody: Chris: I’m making a Lamborghini out of blankets
I think it was stretchy sparkly shiny material, but OK. : )
At first i was like WTF are you doing. Then at the end "okay wow!!!"
Awesome🔥
Why would you use such long tubing for the turbo cooling couldn't you make it much shorter?
There’s another channel called Bad Obsession Motorsport. They built some wide fenders for their Turbo AWD mini using the fabric and resin method. It’s an amazing build they’ve got going over there, check it out if you get a chance!
